What should I wear?
The most important aspect of your photoshoot is that you enjoy yourself and are delighted with the final outcome. We suggest you arrive wearing your favourite clothes, but if you wish you can also bring a range of outfits, from formal to casual. Why not throw in some accessories or props and then let our team work with you to create the perfect photograph?
What props do you provide?
We can provide basic props but personal items such as a child's favourite toy or something that relates to your hobby or interests can help create a photograph that is totally unique to you.
What about hair and make-up?
As our packages are so competitively priced we do not currently offer a makeover service. On the day of your photoshoot you will need to arrive ready to have your photograph taken. However any blemishes that appear on the photographs can be removed digitally afterwards by the photographer.
How do I pose?
Our photographer will show you how to pose to create a natural and comfortable looking photograph. We will help you bring out your own style and personality in our relaxed environment.
How long will the photoshoot take?
Each session lasts for one and a half hours. In this time you will have all your photographs taken, the photographs will then be shortlisted and edited, and finally you will be able to view and choose your preferred images.
How will the images be presented to me so I can choose my favourite photographs?
After the initial photos have been taken, our photographer will take half an hour to choose the very best photos out of the hundreds that will have been taken. While the photographs are being selected and edited you may wish to take the chance to wander around Didsbury or relax next door at The Art of Tea.
Upon your return to the gallery, the photographer will present you with a selection of the best images and you will be able to pick which ones you want printing onto your chosen medium. At this point you will get the chance to change colours and add even more artistic angles to your photographs.
What happens if I don't like any of them?
That would be a first - it's never happened before! However, in the extremely unlikely event that you cannot find a single image you like, you will still have to pay the basic photoshoot cost (£29.99) but will not have to pay for any additional prints.
When will I receive the finished prints?
Once you have chosen your favourite photographs we will create your satin or canvas prints. Our usual turnaround time for this is 7 working days. If you do have a certain deadline, then just let us know as we always try to meet them.
What happens if I need to re-arrange or cancel?
If you need to re-arrange your photoshoot for any reason, please contact us at least 24 hours before the appointment. We will be happy to re-arrange your shoot for an alternative date. If however you decide to cancel the appointment completely, your initial deposit of £29.99 is not refundable.
Where does all of this take place?
The photoshoot takes place at our gallery in Didsbury, Manchester. You can find a map of our location on our contact page.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
