This is the bit where we explain more about our digital printing and framing options.
Everything we do, we do digitally. Photographing, editing, designing and printing – it’s what we do best!
The satisfaction of creating something tangible from a digital file using fine materials is what we’re all about.
We will now explain the technology behind our success.
Digital Printing
As a business we like to do things properly, and that means you get the best quality printing available today. Our technology enables us to produce amazing large prints on a wide range of media, including photo paper and canvas.
We love what we do, and aim to help you produce the best outcome possible.
We’re always looking for ways to improve. Get in touch if you have any suggestions.

Digital Print Technology
Canon imagePROGRAF Print Technology
Our Canon imagePROGRAF digital print technology produces exceptional print quality across a large variety of medias. Boasting 12 colours the Lucia inks are fade resistant and create bold, striking results, both in full colour and black & white. Our machines will print edge to edge up to 44″ (111.7cm) wide with length dependent on roll or sheet fed paper. We will happily produce proofs created from your images for a nominal fee.
Canon Lucia Inks
Designed for high quality photographic reproduction, the Canon Lucia pigment ink system delivers a wide colour gamut, smooth graduations, less bronzing and prints that are highly scratch resistant.
Media Types
We use media we know will work exceptionally well with our machines. Our media range begins with Océ 180g.s.m matt photo paper through to 310g.s.m. Canson museum grade paper and then on to 370g.s.m. Océ canvas.
Image Files & Sources
We’re independent so we’re adaptable. We can source your images from just about anywhere, whether it is your memory card, a portable hard-drive, a CD or DVD, even the internet. Or maybe you have a physical print that we’ll scan.

Adjustments & Effects
We can make subtle tone changes but then we can also convert to black & white or add a vintage feel with sepia. We can also do ‘colour splash’; isolating one colour and leaving the rest greyscale. If you’re unsure grab a seat and we’ll have a tinker.

Canvas Printing Explained
Canvas Material
We only supply one type of canvas, our Océ Universal Artist Matt 370g.s.m 100% cotton, flame retardant, acid-free canvas is covered with a multi platform inkjet coating for indoor usage.
Canvas Frames
Our canvas stretcher bars are 38mm thick premium quality fir wood which is kiln dried to avoid warp. Our in house picture framer gives us the ability to create bespoke sizes for your space.
Canvas Stretching
We stretch all of our canvas in house by hand. Our framer takes pride in producing a drum tight canvas. Our canvas prints are finished off with d-rings and strung ready to be hung on your wall.
Canvas Frame Bleed (Edge Styles)
Frame bleed is just the technical terminology for the edges of your canvas. It describes the way the image bleeds over on to the sides. There are a handful of options available to you, we’d recommend you consider how the effect will work with your image and how it will look when it’s on the wall.
Mirrored Edge
We copy the edge of your picture as a reflection of the main image, and repeat it as the edge. It works incredibly well as none of the main image is lost to the sides.
Gallery Wrap
The image itself wraps around on to the edge. It looks great but consider how much of the image will spill over the edge, you don’t want to cut anyone’s head off!
White Edge
White edges give a clean and crisp look for images which don’t suit a mirrored or gallery wrap. White edges work well with black & white prints and brilliant white walls at home or in the office.
Coloured Edge
You choose a solid colour, we make the edges that colour. This colour could feature in the image itself or it could tie-in with the decor of where it will be hung.
Canvas Options
We are used to printing photographs, original art, illustrations and graphics on to canvas. FeelCreative actually started life as a canvas printing business before moving into photography fine art printing. We focus on producing superior Giclees (digital prints) for home, business and exhibition.
Photo Canvas
There’s having your photo printed on to canvas and then there’s having your photo printed on to canvas. We’re the latter! We use cutting edge print technology, inks and canvas to make sure your photo is printed just the way it was meant to be.
Montage Canvas
Choosing just one photo for your canvas print can be hard when you have so many great pictures! Instead, why not collect them all together and we will create a montage canvas for you, with all your memories in one place.
Word Art Canvas
Creating a word art canvas is a unique way of marking moments in life. Word art is very personal and particularly eye catching. We have many ideas ready for you to personalise, or just dream up your own idea and we’ll create it.
Panel Sets
A great way of setting a theme in a particular space or perhaps just logically breaking up a photograph, montage, word-art piece or collection of art. It’s a bit different than a single canvas print and can be more attention grabbing.
Bespoke Canvas
The beauty of working with us is that we do the designing, printing and framing ourselves, in our own studio, so there’s no boundaries. We’ll mix and match images, words and graphics at any size, in ways you may never have dreamed possible.
Personalised Message
For a nominal fee we can print a personalised message on the back of your canvas print, discrete, yet there for years to come as a reminder of how the print came to be. Typically it’s a ‘to’ and ‘from’ but it’s up to you!

Picture Printing Explained
Photographs
Our technology enables us to replicate colours on a larger scale, whether on canvas, photo or poster paper. We could be printing photos from your wedding or your latest piece for an exhibition, either way they’ll look incredible.
Original Art
We can reproduce the artwork you have spent so long creating. Our high resolution scanners, print technology and colour calibration tools allows us to replicate your works to a very high standard on a range of high quality medias.
Illustrations
Pop-art, perspectives, book art, advertisements, technical and botanical; we can do them all. With bold areas of colour and subtle pen strokes both replicated on a larger scale equally well, you’ll be impressed with the results.
Graphics
Vector or bitmap, we can ‘blow-up’ your images, whether we’re printing a piece of urban lettering or perhaps a logo for the reception of your office. We’ve seen architectural drawings, typography and branding all looking great when enlarged.
Paper Types
Our small range of papers support a wide range of applications from poster prints, framed wall prints, through to original art and exhibition prints. We can source almost any papers from brands such as Océ, Canon, Fotospeed, Hahnemuhle and Canson.
Océ SmartMatt 180g.s.m.
Barrier coated paper for matt full colour applications and technical drawings. Matt bright white barrier-coated paper base with an inkjet pre-coated and inkjet top-coated layer on one side and a reverse side balance coating.
Océ Satin 260g.s.m.

Canson Baryta 310g.s.m
A true Baryta paper developed for inkjet technology. It consists of an alpha-cellulose, acid-free pure white paper with the same barium sulphate coating as for traditional silver halide and a premium inkjet colour receiver layer.

Framed Picture Printing Explained
Hand Crafted Frames
All of our framed picture prints are hand crafted by our experienced in house picture framer. Our bohemian framer loves nothing more than creating frames for some of the stunning pictures that pass through our print studio.
Contemporary Selection
Our online range of picture frames are small to keep things simple but they’re also the frames we sell the most of. We have a much larger range of frames and mounts in our studio, so if you’re close by, pop in and have a look.
Locally Sourced Materials
All of our picture frame moldings and picture frame mounts are sourced from a local business that have been supplying frame moldings for more than 37 years. We take pride in supplying hand made frames sourced and made in Manchester.
Frame Options
We provide a very small range of frames online, which are the most popular with FeelCreative customers. Our “bright white” mounts work well with almost any picture and our contemporary range of frames. You can place an order by using the print order form towards the top of this page. Photography customers will be presented with our full range after their photo-shoot. You can view our framed picture prices here.
Please note: prices are based on image size, please calculate the overall size by adding your mount and frame width to your picture print size. For a full range of frames and mounts just visit our studio or contact us with your requirements.
